Our pro bono work for the community
The lawyers in our Parramatta office are committed to supporting our local community.
It is often the case that vulnerable or low-income people are unable to afford legal representation or cannot obtain Legal Aid.
We try to help where possible, by assisting those in need on a pro bono basis.
Our principal, Geoff Roberson, and his team of lawyers help people in the local community by providing pro bono legal advice in a number of areas of law.
Geoff has assisted clients on a pro bono basis with matters concerning maladministration in lending practices by credit providers.
He has also helped homeowners who may be at risk of losing their home to consider their options, including making a complaint to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority.
With a strong understanding of the NSW Victims Rights and Support Act 2013, Jatinder is committed to providing victims of crime with compassionate legal advice regarding their right to receive support services and recognition payments under the Act.
George has provided pro bono legal advice related to tenancy disputes and eviction notices.
He has helped people to assert their rights under to the NSW Residential Tenancies Act 2010 in cases where tenants were faced with the threat of eviction.
