Kass Lambert is a personal injury lawyer in the Tweed Heads office of Stacks Law Firm. She was admitted as a solicitor in March 2025 and is a member of the Queensland Law Society. Kass has an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies and a Bachelor of Laws, both from Southern Cross University. She has a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law.
Before joining Stacks in 2026, Kass worked in litigation and dispute resolution teams at other law firms, specialising in commercial litigation and community title (strata and body corporate) matters. Prior to that, Kass worked as paralegal, developing her love of personal injury law as she managed her own file load.
Kass has a passionate commitment to personal injury law. She enjoys getting to know her clients and helping them move forward after being injured, even though their life may be different to what they had previously envisaged.
She particularly enjoys supporting clients through a difficult period of their lives while working in an area of law that is continually evolving. She works across all aspects of the pre-court proceedings, litigating matters all the way to court where required.
A notable personal injury matter that Kass worked on involved a “lollipop lady” who was hit by a vehicle outside her children’s school. While the insurer was attempting to settle the claim for around $250,000, the legal team was able to negotiate a million-dollar settlement.
This followed the client’s further ankle surgery, in which medical evidence confirmed she would never regain full function of her ankle. It was extremely satisfying for Kass to play a part in achieving that result, as the payout helped the client buy a home without stairs, allowing her family to regain some sense of normality.
Another matter that has remained with Kass involved a 13-year-old girl who was subjected to inappropriate conduct by a building manager. While criminal proceedings resulted in a conviction without a criminal record, the team was also able to assist the young girl through a personal injury claim, securing approximately $60,000 to be held in trust for her until she reached adulthood.
Kass was drawn to a legal career because she enjoyed debating and wanted to pursue a career that would allow her to help others.
Outside of work, Kass has a blended family with a young daughter and stepson, only a month apart in age, who keep her very busy. She is horse mad and spends a lot of time with her four-legged “third child”, Shirkhan (pronounced “Shere-khan”).
Kass also enjoys four-wheel driving, bike rides with her family along the rail trail and camping trips to Moreton Island and Glen Innes. Her family is outdoorsy and always up for an adventure.
Kass is a member of the Terranora Lakes Equestrian Club and is constantly seeking new and exciting ways to involve the horse community with local events.
She also has an interest in family law, particularly domestic violence matters, and is passionate about supporting survivors. Kass hopes to undertake pro bono work in this area in the future and participates in the annual walk against domestic violence at Burleigh each March.
