Anne-Marie is a lawyer in the Tweed Heads office of Stacks Law Firm. She was admitted as a solicitor in 2010 and is a member of the Law Society of NSW.
In addition to her undergraduate law degree, Anne-Marie has a Masters in Commercial Law, obtained in 2015, and a Masters in In-House Practice, completed in 2023, both at the College of Law.
Anne-Marie has many years of professional experience, including working as a lawyer for Lismore City Council. Most recently, she was an in-house lawyer for Southern Cross Credit Union. As a result of her time with Southern Cross Credit Union, Anne-Marie has an excellent knowledge of banking and financial services law.
Anne-Marie also has experience in contract law, property law and elder abuse law. She has a strong interest in wills and estates, and enjoys working on breaches of powers of attorney, enduring powers of attorney and financial management orders.
Anne-Marie is a problem solver. She enjoys conducting research and investigations of legal problems to seek favourable outcomes for her clients.
Anne-Marie was attracted to a career in law as an avid reader who wanted to seek justice for people and obtain good outcomes for them. As a younger person she had exposure to the law through her uncle, who had a law practice in Sydney.
When not working, Anne-Marie enjoys the outdoors, running, hiking and skiing. She also enjoys spending time with her young daughter, Chloe, and with friends.
Anne-Marie likes to contribute to the local community and has volunteered with her daughter at the Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital. She plans to join the Tweed Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
