Taylor is a solicitor in the Taree office. She was admitted as a solicitor in March 2021 and has an arts degree majoring in English in addition to her legal qualifications.
Taylor has worked in wills and estates, conveyancing, commercial law, civil litigation and matters relating to small businesses. Since joining Stacks, she has been working in personal injury law, with a focus on motor vehicle accidents and public liability cases.
Taylor has a client-focused approach to work. She takes the time to explain complex legal matters in plain language to ensure her clients feel well informed and fully understand their case.
Taylor has high attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. She is a creative thinker and has a great deal of empathy and compassion for her clients, with whom she establishes a strong rapport.
Taylor enjoys working on complex legal matters and being able to utilise her legal skills to achieve a good outcome for her clients. She particularly enjoys working in personal injury law, where she can help clients who are often dealing with complex and multi-faceted challenges at a difficult time in their lives.
Although Taylor had other plans for a career after finishing high school, she felt drawn to law during a gap year, as she thought it would mean she could help people and use her critical thinking skills to solve problems every day. Having a mother who was a conveyancer and worked in law firms also provided a strong influence.
Outside of work, Taylor plays soccer for her local club, which she has done for most of her life. She has also tried her hand at futsal, volleyball, AFL and touch footy at various stages.
Taylor enjoys spending time at her family farm, riding horses and looking after the property. She loves live music and tries to attend as many performances as possible. Taylor often spends time with family and friends over coffee or brunch at her favourite local cafes.
Taylor volunteers her time with the Wauchope soccer club and the Australian Red Cross, where she worked as a Disaster Relief Project Officer before becoming a solicitor.
