Molly is a lawyer in the Tamworth office of Stacks Law Firm. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New England and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law.
Molly works in family law, criminal law and some areas of civil law.
In her family law matters, Molly provides representation and support from the outset to the finish. Her work encompasses marriage and defacto relationship breakdowns, simple and complex property settlements, parenting disputes, private mediation and drafting formal agreements in the form of consent orders.
She provides legal representation should the matter require court intervention (Initiating Applications in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia).
Molly takes a sensitive and sensible approach to attempt to resolve family law matters quickly and equitably. She seeks to identify alternative solutions to litigation, averting the need for court intervention. Every person’s needs are different, so tailoring an individual approach for each client brings positive results.
In criminal law matters, Molly provides representation in the local and district courts. She sees this work as an opportunity to make a difference to society.
Molly enjoys problem solving and has good interpersonal skills that help her connect with clients.
Molly has always had a keen interest in Australia’s judicial system. She remembers being in awe when walking past court houses as a child and wanting to be involved in the law. She believes that lawyers are in a unique position to help the public and she is honoured to have the opportunity to fulfil this role.
Outside of work, Molly enjoys reading, running, being outdoors and spending time with dogs and other animals. She donates funds and volunteers her time to Animals Australia and to the Animal Justice Party NSW.
Molly further involves herself in the community by playing on a local netball team, as well as attending local business chamber meetings and local council meetings.
