Jatinder is a Senior Lawyer within the Dispute Resolution and Commercial Litigation Practice Group. He has many years experience in providing clients with wide ranging commercial advice as well as resolving commercial disputes.
Jatinder has extensive experience in insolvency and has worked with numerous clients in recovering and defending preference claims, examinations of company directors and third parties, insolvent trading claims, applications seeking priority payments to indemnifying creditors and prosecuting and defending winding up proceedings.
He has experience in providing commercial advice to corporate and individual clients in relation to the drafting of terms of trade, retention of title, PPSR, leasing contracts, compliance with guarantee provisions of the Australian Consumer Law, banking disputes and asset sales agreements.
Jatinder has assisted large trade credit insurers and other corporate clients with refining their debt recovery processes to improve cash flow and reduce debt write offs. He can assist with setting up a tailored process which is both effective and cost efficient and which is capable of managing voluminous debt recoveries.
He has appeared in various court jurisdictions including the Local Court, District Court, Supreme Court, Federal Magistrates Court, Federal Court and the Consumer Trade and Tenancy Tribunal. His litigation experience is inclusive of all types of construction and commercial disputes.
Jatinder is proficient in the Hindi and Punjabi languages.
