Heba is an Associate and personal injury lawyer in the Sydney office of Stacks Goudkamp. She has a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Technology Sydney and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law. Heba was admitted as a solicitor in 2021 and is a member of the Law Society of NSW.
Heba has worked in the legal profession for over six years, including four years as a qualified lawyer. She began her career as a law graduate before progressing to junior lawyer, and has steadily built her practice within the area of personal injury and public liability law.
Over the years, Heba has developed a strong foundation in managing complex claims, assessing liability and guiding clients through what are often challenging and emotionally charged situations.
Working in personal injury has reinforced Heba’s interest in laws that directly impact individuals’ lives. She has helped numerous clients secure a significant settlement for life-altering injuries; moreover she finds real purpose in helping clients obtain fair outcomes and move forward after injury or loss.
Heba takes pride in her ability to communicate clearly and empathetically, ensuring that clients understand their rights, the legal process and the likely outcome of their case. Many clients have told her that her support helped reduce their stress and empowered them during difficult times.
Heba’s key strengths lie in client interaction, simplifying legal jargon into practical advice and building trust with people from all walks of life. She is confident in managing competing demands and advocating effectively, whether through negotiation or by supporting litigation strategy.
With a genuine sense of empathy and compassion for her clients, Heba builds strong bonds and relationships. She takes time to understand the person’s plight from a human perspective, not merely a legal perspective.
Although Heba was initially interested in studying economics at university, she has always had a strong sense of justice and a desire to advocate for people who might not otherwise have a voice, especially those navigating difficult systems or power imbalances. That instinct naturally led her to law.
Outside of work, Heba enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the gym, reading, listening to music, travelling and watching her favourite reality TV.
She also likes to give back to the community by participating in legal workshops educating people about their rights and entitlements when making workers compensation and motor vehicle accident claims.
