Georgia is a paralegal in the Parramatta office of the Stacks network. She is currently at Western Sydney University studying a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Social Science (majoring in Peace and Development Studies), which she anticipates completing in 2025.
Georgia has a keen interest in advocacy and enjoys learning new things. She is articulate and well organised, which has helped her to embrace the challenges of working in a law firm.
Georgia loves exploring the different areas of law, applying herself at every opportunity to expand her skills. As part of an earnest commitment to becoming a proficient lawyer, Georgia works diligently across all fields of law to increase her knowledge and better understand the challenges each one presents.
Prior to joining the firm, Georgia worked in retail and as a student facilitator in property law for the Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) program at her university.
Georgia has had a keen interest in studying law since her senior years of high school, where she had an inspiring mentor with a legal background who encouraged her to follow law as a career.
During her studies Georgia was recognised for her academic achievements, commitment and interest in the law. She was a Dean’s Merit List Recipient from 2020 to 2022 and was awarded the 2022 John Marsden Memorial Best and Fairest Award in Alternative Dispute Resolution.
When not studying or working, Georgia enjoys spending time with her family and caring for her dog, Winnie.
Georgia has volunteered her time as a student mentor for the Kirby Cup High School Competition, providing weekly guidance to high school students in preparation for a mock trial. During 2024 she also worked as a legal intern for the Western Sydney University Office of General Counsel, which further spurred her passion for working in law.
