Courtney is the Practice Group Leader of the succession law team in the Tamworth office of Stacks Law Firm. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Laws at the University of New England and is due to graduate in July 2026.
Courtney initially enrolled to study a Bachelor of Social Science. However, accepting a position at Stacks Law Firm inspired her to change her degree to study law.
Since making that decision she has embraced her work in succession law, assisting the firm’s clients with making wills, appointing a Power of Attorney and Enduring Guardian, applying for probate and attending to the many facets of estate planning.
Courtney is honest. She has excellent organisational skills and enjoys a good challenge.
Courtney manages the pro bono work that Stacks does in Tamworth for the Cancer Council, whereby the firm’s lawyers prepare wills, powers of attorney and enduring guardianship documents on a pro bono basis for people who are receiving cancer treatment and who meet a means test.
She also manages the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Wills Week program, where the firm’s lawyers give their time to prepare wills for those who register and make a donation to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
While her studies and work keep her very busy, Courtney enjoys learning different languages, particularly Japanese, as well as reading, painting and spending time with her animals and her friends.
