Claudia is a solicitor in the Tweed Heads office of Stacks Law Firm. She has a Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law.
Prior to joining Stacks, Claudia worked at another law firm for five years. She started as a paralegal, assisting the Principal Solicitor with his criminal matters, as well as general administration. This included writing submissions for court and attending criminal trials.
Once she was admitted as a solicitor in November 2022, Claudia moved into the wills and estates area, running her own matters, such as family provision claims.
Claudia enjoys working in estate administration and estate planning, as she can apply her communication skills and empathetic nature to help clients. Her goal as a solicitor is always to help people in need. She also likes the problem-solving aspect of the legal work.
Beyond her work in wills and estates, Claudia also finds equity and trusts interesting. Having gained experience in criminal and family law, she hopes also to expand her knowledge of commercial matters.
Claudia has been interested in the justice system since childhood, with her family always suspecting she would end up in law. She appreciates the nuances of law, which she believes are not always found in other careers that tend to be more “black-and-white”.
When not working, Claudia enjoys spending time with her family, partner and friends. She also likes exercising, swimming at the beach and going to the gym.
Claudia has commenced a Masters specialising in wills and estates. After commencing this study she received the prize for the highest grade overall for her first subject.
