Kurt Topper, Director of Stacks Heard McEwan and our Wollongong-based Accredited Specialist in Wills and Estates Law, has embarked on an intensive training and rehearsal regime in preparation for the 4th Annual Stars of Wollongong Dance for Cancer, which is to be held on 2 June this year.
The gala fundraising event pairs well-known local business people and community members with professional dance partners to learn a dance routine which they will perform on the night, all in the name of charity and entertainment.
While some funds are raised through the sale of tickets for the event, individual participants also do their own fundraising to contribute to the cause. Funds raised will go to assist the Cancer Council NSW to fund its important cancer research and prevention initiatives.
“Dancing in front of a large audience is definitely out of my comfort zone but I am happy to be supporting such a worthy cause,” says Kurt.
Anyone who would like to make a donation to support Kurt (or “Twinkle Toes” as we now call him) can do so via his fundraising page: https://starsofwollongong2018.everydayhero.com/au/kurt-topper.
