Employment policies and procedures

Some common questions about Policies and Procedures:

A code of conduct is a type of policy that deals with a particular employer’s standards of behaviour, such as language use in the workplace or a dress code. A code of conduct generally deals with issues that are important to the employer rather than issues that they are legally required to address.

You don’t. The benefit of having a lawyer to review your policies is that we will be able to advise you about the wording of particular policies in order to ensure that your business is covered in the event of disputes with employees and that you provide clear guidelines in relation to all important matters. We have experience defending employers in court proceedings and can provide expert advice so that your policies and procedures serve to assist in your defence.
