Chloe Smallwood is a lawyer in the Tamworth office of Stacks Law Firm. A law graduate of the University of Tasmania, she was admitted as a solicitor in July 2024 and joined Stacks in September 2026. She holds a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law and is a member of the Law Society of NSW.
Chloe’s legal career began as a Probate Clerk in a small law firm in Hobart, where she developed a strong interest in wills and estates law. She later returned to her hometown of Tamworth and worked as a solicitor in wills and estates before joining Stacks.
Since commencing her legal career as a law student in 2019, Chloe has gained experience across wills and estates, property law, business law and conveyancing. She particularly enjoys wills and estates work, which allows her to combine her legal expertise with a compassionate approach to clients.
Chloe understands that legal matters involving families, wills and estates can be complex and emotionally loaded. She is passionate about helping clients navigate these challenges, providing clear legal advice and practical support during what is often a very difficult time.
Chloe’s interest in law began while she was studying legal studies in high school. Inspired by her late mum’s encouragement, she pursued a career in the profession and has remained passionate about helping others through the law.
Outside of work, Chloe enjoys spending time with her husband and young son, supporting family members at local sporting events and being outdoors. She also likes to attend events involving the Aboriginal community in Tamworth.
