Madaline is a licensed conveyancer at Stacks Law Firm in Taree. She has a Diploma of Conveyancing Law and Practice from Macaquarie University and is a member of the Australian Institute of Conveyancers NSW Division.
Madaline has worked in the legal industry for just over seven years, predominantly in conveyancing, and has been qualified for two years as a licensed conveyancer.
Starting as a receptionist, Madaline worked her way up as a conveyancing assistant, settlements officer, legal secretary, conveyancing clerk and paralegal, before finally qualifying as a licensed conveyancer. She commenced studying Conveyancing Law and Practice in 2017 and continued to study as she worked.
Over the years, Madaline has gained substantial experience in residential buying and selling, off-the-plan developments and retirement village leases. She has assisted in commercial matters, including Queensland and Victoria property conveyances. She is skilled in PEXA, file management, contract negotiation and management, and document drafting.
Madaline enjoys working in conveyancing, as she loves property, innovation and helping people secure their home or next investment, as well as the fast-paced nature of the work.
Madaline has acted on some major transactions, including the purchaser of the price record-breaking sale for the suburb in Speers Point in 2023 ($10 million), and assisting in the sale of a Bunnings in Sydney, which was the biggest transaction she ever has completed ($35 million). Madaline also acted on the Munibung Hill Development in Boolaroo.
In addition to property and conveyancing, Madaline has experience assisting in the creation of trust structures and estate matter document drafting. She has an interest in estate planning and estate administration, as her caring nature and “worst-case scenario” thinking are a good fit to help those who are either planning for the future, or managing the loss of a loved one.
As someone who is highly organised and motivated, with attention to detail, Madaline gives thorough advice to her clients. She is a good negotiator and lateral thinker.
When not at work, Madaline likes spending time with her husband and family, and being outside to enjoy their new countryside life on the porch. She can also be found on the tractor getting some work done.
Madaline is a Justice of the Peace and regularly provides her services to the community.
