Justine is a highly experienced paralegal at Stacks Collins Thompson in Hornsby. She was admitted as a lawyer in 2007.
Before joining Stacks, Justine was a paralegal at Gadens in the family law team and worked as a Client Services Officer at the Family Court of Australia in Sydney.
Prior to that, Justine was a Facilities Asset Supervisor and Contracts Administrator for five years at the Immigration Detention Centre in Villawood NSW. She was a conveyancing clerk and settlements clerk in Hobart for three years.
Justine has worked predominantly in family law and property law, with many years of experience in conveyancing and property settlements.
As a parent, with a personal interest in childhood development, as well as experience gained through early childcare training and managing compliance requirements for government-managed centres in NSW, Justine is passionate about ensuring the needs of children are met, particularly in family law.
Justine has worked on probate applications, wills and estates. She continues to develop her skills in this area of law.
Having always been interested in law, Justine enjoys working alongside her clients to resolve their legal problems and provide choices, information and support during emotionally stressful times.
When not working, Justine loves to hike in nature, particularly in the mountains. A particularly enjoyable hike she did was the 85-kilometre Overland Track in Tasmania – from Cradle Mountain to Lake St Claire – which was absolutely stunning, exhilarating and challenging.
Justine is a member of her local surf lifesaving club.
