Josh is a lawyer in the Bowral/Goulburn office. He recently joined Stacks after graduating with a Juris Doctor from the University of New South Wales. He also holds a Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice.
Since joining the firm, Josh has worked on personal injury, workers compensation and motor vehicle accident matters. He has now transitioned to general law matters.
Keen to expand his experience across all areas of law, Josh is interested in legal history. He has a particular affinity for working in wills and estates, and for both residential and commercial conveyancing.
Josh has a strong interest in workplace and employment law. He enjoys being able to help clients navigate employment problems and provide them with clarity regarding their rights and options.
Josh believes the power imbalance in the employment relationship and the need people have to maintain an income puts them in a vulnerable, stressful position. He likes being able to help people in situations of that nature.
At the same time, Josh understands the predicament of employers who need to navigate an ever-changing legal landscape and deal with the challenges the workplace presents.
Josh enjoys learning and fully understanding how things work and relate to each other, so he can navigate, educate and guide others to the best outcomes available. He likes identifying potential problems ahead of time and coming up with creative and appropriate solutions.
Josh likes being able to provide a service to people in a friendly, efficient and knowledgeable way, so they can feel their needs have been met and their matter dealt with effectively.
While he has always had an interest in law, Josh had not considered it as a career option until he helped a friend with a legal matter. Ultimately this led to him deciding to pursue law as a career.
Most of his free time is spent with his wife and three children. He enjoys casual cycling and jogging with them whenever possible.
