Amanda is a licensed conveyancer, as well as the office manager of the Stacks Port Macquarie office, where she has been working since 1999.
During her time at Stacks, Amanda has worked in a number of roles, including reception and accounts, before becoming the office manager and a licensed conveyancer.
Amanda’s main practice area is conveyancing, acting for both vendors and purchasers in residential property matters. She also assists Rob Hiatt with some commercial matters and has recently started helping with estate matters, where she tries to make the process as stress-free as she can for her clients.
Amanda enjoys her conveyancing work, as she likes the interactions with clients and finds it satisfying guiding them through the various stages of buying or selling – whether it be purchasing a first home, or an existing client upgrading or investing.
Amanda was always interested in property and conveyancing, having worked in real estate prior to joining Stacks. She also worked for a number of other companies in computer-related roles, including Fuji Xerox in Sydney.
Amanda has excellent communication skills, which she feels are an asset in her type of work. Many clients find legal jargon daunting, so she feels it is important to explain everything in plain English.
When she is not working, Amanda likes spending time with her immediate family and doing a lot of socialising with a great group of friends. She also enjoys attending local rugby union matches with her friends, especially on occasions like Ladies Day.
