Samantha is a Senior Associate in the Stacks Goudkamp office in Sydney.
Samantha started her career with Stacks Goudkamp in December 2011 working in the mail room, shortly after completing her HSC exams. Samantha was so inspired by the work her colleagues were doing and the results they were achieving for their clients that she decided to begin her studies to become a lawyer.
Samantha showed potential and was soon promoted from the mail room to secretary and then paralegal.
Samantha completed her Bachelor of Law Studies by correspondence through Southern Cross University while continuing to work at Stacks Goudkamp. She has had the benefit and privilege of working with a number of different solicitors at the firm, which has allowed her to gain invaluable knowledge and experience in various areas of law.
Samantha’s experience includes motor vehicle accident claims, public liability claims, superannuation claims and medical negligence claims, but she predominantly does workers compensation and work injury damages claims.
Samantha was involved in the matter of Hamad v Q Catering Limited [2017] NSWWCCPD 6 which involved a worker being mistreated and bullied by managerial staff, resulting in the worker developing a psychological injury. The matter was lost at first instance, but Stacks Goudkamp was successful in appealing the arbitrator’s decision, meaning that the worker won.
Samantha’s legal skills include researching and problem solving. She is hard-working and is dedicated to achieving good results for her clients. She is friendly, approachable and likes working alongside her clients.
When not working, Samantha enjoys going to the beach, watching movies and staying fit by going to the gym. She also likes to spend time with her family and friends.
